Our friendly staff offer a warm welcome to all and a delicious selection of light lunches, sumptuous home-made cakes, gluten-free bakes, quality coffee and free wifi.
The café was family friendly [and] easily accessible with a pushchair. [There was] lots of space for the pushchair, lots of high chairs, [a] children’s menu [and] friendly staff.
About the food
We are passionate about showcasing local produce on our menu. Many of our ingredients are sourced from local providers, supporting Newark’s fantastic independent businesses, and offering a real taste of the area during your visit.
We offer:

- house salads
- cakes and pastries
- hot and cold drinks
Something for the kids
We also have a kids menu that offers a range of snacks and light bites, including:
- toast with cheese, beans, butter or jam
- sandwiches
- potato skins with different toppings
For lunch on the go, we also provide kids lunch bags. These include:

- crisps
- biscuits
- fresh fruit
- Fruit Shoot
- water
How to find us
We are fully accessible and family friendly. You’ll find step-free access to the café via a lift, accessible toilets, and spacious wheelchair access.
We offer highchairs, an affordable children’s menu, baby changing facilities and plenty of room for pushchairs.
You do not need a museum ticket to visit the café.
